ETHICAL COMMITMENT

The code of Ethics and Conduct provides a reference aimed at maintaining high ethical standards of both, behavior and responsibility, within the Company. Through this code, TARBA ENERGÍA seeks to foster and promote a culture of integrity, professionalism and responsibility in order to enhance our reputation as a valuable employer, partner and corporate citizen.

All employees and directors are expected to:

  • Respect the law and act according to it;
  • Respect confidentiality and avoid misuse of Company information, resources or facilities;
  • Value and maintain professionalism;
  • Avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest;
  • Always act in accordance with the best interests of the Company and its shareholders;
  • Through their actions, they contribute to the company’s reputation as a good corporate citizen who seeks respect for the community and the environment in which it operates;
  • Perform their tasks in a way that minimizes environmental impact and maximizes safety in the workplace;
  • Exercise fairness, courtesy, respect, consideration, and sensitivity in all their relationships with the workplace and with customers, suppliers, and the general public; and
  • Always act with honesty, integrity, decency and responsibility.

Those who do not comply with the Code of Ethics and Conduct will face disciplinary action.

If an employee suspects that a breach of the Code of Ethics or Conduct has occurred or is going to occur, she must notify management.

No employee will be disadvantaged or harmed by reporting a suspected non-compliance in good faith. All reports will be treated and kept confidential.
